Bad fitting boots, where do i stand??

Excuse the pun.......

I bought a pair of timberland boots last week ( £130 ) and inside there is a piece of leather that rubs my foot and it is quite painful.

Can I return them to the shop and get another pair???

I have the box, receipt e.t.c. But I have worn them????? :o

Sounds like they just need breaking in.

I had a pair of shoes simlar recently, wore them a couple of days a week for the first few weeks whilst earning a nice blister on top of my foot.

    They are fine now.

    Thanks for your reply laz...........

    That has helped me
  • I would say if the other boot doesn't have this piece of leather sticking out then yes I think you have a good case. I would expect 130 notes boots to be better made.

Okay, you can try and get a refund. But if not rub a raw potato into the rubbing area which will soften it. Or get some boot/shoe stretchers to enlarge the area.

Most reputable shoe shops would entertain a replacement within a week or two, as long as they're still in good condition.

Took them back to the shop, and they have sent them to head office to check them and give me an answer direct........

Did you try on another pair in the shop for comparison?

Could you email their head office and ask for advice? You shouldn't have to put up with rubbing boots, or waste your money.
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D
