Car park under seige - advice appreciated

Providing you can find a sensible ppc it would seem that this is the only way to go. (never thought I'd ever say that ) Unless you can find some way of fitting gates/bollards and giving out keys, dearer but possibly better.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I'm sorry if I sounded as if I was asking for the impossible Custardy although it would seem that perhaps I might be. As to the organisation of parking permits it would indeed be impossible given the numbers of legitimate visitors to the development - friends, relatives. tradesmen, meter readers, couriers, doctors etc. I think perhaps Dave F327 is right - just because the selfish inconsiderate motorist can do it he/she does. As an aside I have read literally thousands of words of advice as to how to ignore private parking enforcement but can find precisely none on how to rightfully enforce it.0

Private Parking Company sounds like a good idea. Probs wont need them forever once word gets round.
In regards to carers etc; perhaps people could compile a list of regos for the regular visitors? Or perhaps some sort of permit that they can put on the windscreen?
personally id be up for putting stickers on their windows and or letting down their tyres or simply stealing their cars by having them towed to the neighbouring county and not telling anyone. When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -

Sadly borders-dude it is the "don't give a damn about anyone else's rights" individuals who know best their rights when it comes to the validity of private parking enforcement-in practice none. Also it would be impossible to have the registrations of all visitors-hundreds- to be recorded/noted due to expense and practical impossibility. Thanks for your thoughts though.0

Does'nt anyone know some local scalliwags who want some regulated fun?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Can they not install a barrier ?0

^^Lol.
It's a difficult problem, I'll agree. We live on a private estate on a 'brownfill' site. As part of the development plan our builders had to agree to a car park for local residents from the adjoining road which we pay for - no problem with that, except that they've taken over our own residents' car park too! It's annoying when people buy up the cheap properties on the neighbouring road and then consider it a perk that they get free off-road parking in our car park!0 -

People can argue until they're blue in the face, but if a company legally clamps your car then there isn't much to be done other than pay up.
I hate clampers too, but strangely enough I've never been clamped, perhaps because when I see the signs I don't park there.0 -
