Having said that if one's credit file is thin on the ground some creditors use locality demographics to check the average risk in a given area / postcode; perhaps this contributed to the "radomnator appover"
hehe

Maybe Barclaycard's credit scoring was too strict for the average "Apply for a credit card while your in Argos" crowd, so they pulled it to put a stop to all the declines?

I don't think it's had much interest. Their original insentive was 3 months interest free, shortly after they offered cashback which IMO was quite a generous amount if you don't mind it in gift vouchers.
I hope they don't pull the card for existing customers because I managed to get a rare 10% cashback offer - in Argos vouchers. Although I think they probably will at some point.0
