Hi
I was thinking of applying for the Argos card but the advertising instore doesn't mention any cashback. Is the instore card the same as the online card?
And does anyone know if I can get cashback for applying? thanks

I apply online which was very easy and they email me to tell me I was accepted.0

I wasn't aware of any cashback offers for the Argos store card. If you mean the interest free credit plans they're the same however you apply.0

IF you mean the Argos credit card, I think that's been phased out. The website says no more applications are being accepted.0

I think that there are two different products
store card
mastercard cashback credit card0 -
I don't think that they are accepting online applications at the moment, as i just tried.;)0

The argos credit card was a rebranded Barclaycard - and yeah, it's been phased out.
If you are happy with a Barclaycard and want cashback, why not the Barcyalcard Cashback?

it didn't last long!
the bcard one is ok but max £20 a year at 1%0 -
Maybe Barclaycard's credit scoring was too strict for the average "Apply for a credit card while your in Argos" crowd, so they pulled it to put a stop to all the declines?

I remeber when they lauched the argos card my mate turned 18 applied and they gave him a grand limit. So within two days he had maxed it out and had some cheap flat pack furniture and a lovely £470 stereo system!!!
They gave me a £500 limit i was 19 and I just got a ps2 when they launched them.
Then a couple of months later another mate turned 18 no credit he got a straight decline. Think they used the 'radomnator credit approval system'.0
