New Vodaphone contract, less minutes in first month

Bill arrived, £90. Took it straight into Phones4U and the manager was dealing with another customer who he tried fleasing out of £80 saying he was refunding £160 to her card she had to tell him twice the machine only said £80 lol. Anyway, he sent someone to deal with it who telephoned head office, and they said that the sales rep went through pro-rata billing which she did not (I asked her several times whether I get the 600 minutes straight away and each time she said "yes, of course"). Phones4U said there was nothing they would do as the person that mis sold me the contract was not in work so they ended up calling her but she couldnt quite remember as this was weeks ago so the guy told me I need to take it up with Vodaphone. I made him call Vodaphone while I was in store, and they said Phones4U were at fault take it out with them, so I put the P4U guy onto Voda they had a discussion and came to the conclusion that it was P4U's fault but still head office had said there was nothing they will do about it. I ended up cancelling the direct debit as I cant have £90 leave my account next week.
My first bill came dated 16th October, with a billing period of 6th Oct to 12th Nov, apparently I don't get the 600 minutes until 13th October, so I just had 140 minutes and they are saying I've used close to 1000 which I don't believe.
Anyone any ideas? Or just write a stroppy letter to P4U head office about contract law and being misguided / mis-sold this contract?0 -
No one got a clue what I can do?0

Hi danny2324
Undertanding the billing with a new provider can be really confusing. Particularly if it wasn't made clear when you were taking out the contract.
I can see from the thread that you have already spoken to both ourselves and P4U and that they have admitted that it was their error. However as you aren't getting any further help from them, I'd like to offer any assistance I can.
If you send me an email from here with your username and a link to this thread along with your details I'll see if anything can be done. Make sure when you email us you include the code WRT135 in the subject line so that your email comes straight to my team.
All the best
