    I've sent you a private message with some contact details then we can take a look into this matter for you.

    Terra_Firma, the reason we ask customers to register on our forums has been explained previously. The basics of it are to protect the customers personal information. I don't know or have any control over private messages etc on this site. I know on the TalkTalk forum no-one else has visability of private messages therefore I know the transfer of details are secure.

    I have to say that Emma the TT rep on this site has completely sorted out my problem, she took the time to investigate and arranged a credit for any wrong billing. TalkTalk are very lucky to have her, if only all members of the company were as efficient and helpful :)

    Response letter received today from TT completely ignoring my queries as to their service failings All it stated was that the £70 disconnection fee would remain but 'sorry for any inconvenience caused. So I send a 3 page A4 letter and get a few sentences in response ??????

    Oh and apparently I can call free from my TT landline (errr I don't have one!).

    Computer generated responses are no way of dealing with customer complaints :mad::mad:

    Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
