Mobile Accelerator / Apps
My mobile contract will be up in a few months, and I do not know what phone to pick to replace my handset. I want a phone that works with the spirit level type of apps. I do not want an Iphone as they are on o2 and probably when on Orange or Vodaphone will be on the top monthly charges like o2 charge. I do not know how to look for handsets with the tilt sensor in them as i can't find any phone info that states which handset has what types of features in built. Anyone out there more knowledge on these handsets? Please message me back with anything that will be of interest to me please.
Thank you,

Couldn't you just buy a spirit level?0

The Nokia 5800 has a spirit level application on the ovi store.
Its called 'Level', by offscreen technologies.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -

It isn't very accurate so I'd recommend buying a real one! (I put up a wonky poster in my classroom using this on my 5800!)
Is it the accelerometer you want? I am considering turning mine off since it annoys me how the phone display rotates around with a pause. Worse still if you happen to be using the phone laying down (try it and see!).0 -
