I have a big issue. My television fell while i was decorating so i claimed on my insurance. they took the tv away and i did not hear from them for an awful long time. I contacted my insurers who put me in touch with the underwriters who informed me that he had sent me three letters and i had not responded. He emailed me the letters and to my dismay, they have diagnosed a fault on the tv and no accidental damage. He also said that a bolt was missing that signifies that it had been fixed and that i knew about the fault. The letter also said that the tv would be destroyed in 10 days time if they did not hear from. I take it that the tv is infact destroyed now.
The letter also stated that my insurance has been cancelled as of July 2009, i was totally unaware of this. That means that it will be very difficult to be insured by another company. If i do it will be very expensive.
