    Hi Unity,

I have checked your account to see what has happened and the account details show that a ?6.35 refund was performed on the 17/11/2009. However this refund was made to your bank account and not by cheque as previously advised so I am very sorry about the confusion. The final bill did state that the refund would be made to your bank account so I do not know why you were advised otherwise. I would ask that you check your bank statement for the account that you used to pay your BT bill. If the refund is not there will you let me know and I shall investigate this for you as a matter of urgency.

    Many Thanks

Hi Donna and thanks for your help, I don't know what we'd do without the reps who regularly help out here:T.

The amount was supposed to come out by cheque (confirmed by Jon, BT Rep) as I had cancelled the direct debit facility in favour of BT. Unfortunately I knew from previous experience I couldn't trust them not to take the £91.87 they incorrectly said I owed  and I was also in the process of changing bank accounts.

I have now traced this back to the old bank account, so I can retrieve it.:T

I really should have known that BT would say one thing and do another, I guess it's a little late to expect them to change the habits of a lifetime  :D.

Thankfully unless BT radically change things, to lure me back, I won't need to post here again :j.

Unity wanders off whistling "Like a Virgin" :D and thanking heaven for a genuinely fast broadband connection as an added bonus at last.
