Exactly. As if something as trivial as a jammy dodger stain could ruin that  :D
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

That sounds far worse than I think it's meant to!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Frisk him for biscuits...you know you want to.

Don't seem to have achieved anything today - DD's eventually got up and went out with friends, I took DH for a walk around the park but his legs gave way and getting home wasn't fun (shall be going to the Dr's again on monday and although he's fighting it I think it's time he had a wheelchair)

Got a pile of ironing the size of a small continent to wade through later...I keep putting it off but it hasn't taken the hint and !!!!!!ed off.

It must be horrible for you (and him) Pooky. :(

Did they give you any indication how long the wait for surgery is likely to be?

No idea on the surgery front, his notes are now with the surgical team and we wait for their calling. It's such a minefield as 90% of cases get better over a few weeks, 10% need surgery within 6 months to avoid permanent nerve damage...we're on month 4 and a half.

I think he actually scared himself today - he's taking advice from NHS direct as we speak.

    I think it's wine o'clock!
