It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Afternoon all.

    Happy Birthday Pingu!

Glad Natasha is feeling a bit better, when I had it I had a spot in my throat, couldn't eat anything except jelly, soups etc.

Woohoo, someone else who remembers the T&C!

Going for a meal with sister tonight, she's treating me. Don't know where though, she wants a restaurant 'not just somewhere that people pop in for lunch' but without a reservation and not costing too much. So that's my two favourite places out - the Adelphi's just a pub, nothing special, and my favourite Italian she's already said no to because people just pop in off the street. Hopefully I can search online for somewhere.

I've put a few book club posters up in Starbucks's, but most places wouldn't let me leave cards or put anything up. I was a bit annoyed with Borders, who said if we met there I could advertise it. I offered to run one there, they were really enthusiastic, took my details then never got back to me. So I just went upstairs and stuck a poster and cards on the Starbucks community board! I'll try Starbucks further out and libraries at the beginning of next week, and of course the pub where we meet should have no problem with advertising it there. Any other suggestions would be great!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
