Sorry to hear that Spud, have you got the antivirals yet? My sister found she got loads better when she started taking them, and that it didn't last as long as 'normal' flu.
I haven't got anything done today. Had lots of great intentions, then fell asleep on the sofa, just woken up. Oh well.
No hun. DH seems to have it too, so we dont have anyone to get em for us

I'm sure someone would go, but it seems like a lot of trouble to ask someone to come here, get our ID, then go to the nearest centre (which isnt local) and bring em back.
I'll ring the doc tomorrow se if he can suggest summink

Your PCT should have some arrangement set up for people who have nobody to collect their antivirals, we use a council approved driver/courier to collect their ID and bring the anti-virals to them!
Have a look on your local PCT's webpage.
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Spud - Hope you're both feeling better soon...but yes ringing Dr's is a good idea to see what they suggest.
Bunny - The fact that the kids choose to play at yours speaks volumes...as for rooms being trashed, pop on a cd they both love and see how much they can tidy in that time...make it fun.
DH has been in bed for most of the afternoon which meant I could get on....ironing done, garden tidy, shed sorted, garden furniture put away, pots emptied, utility room cleared and dinner's in the oven....knackered now tho."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
