What will they do when their children leave home and LHA stops paying for a house of this size?
They won't smash the place up, they won't upset neighbours etc.
The youngest is only 1 and I'm sure they will have at least one more, so they hope to live in their next house for 20 years or so - after that, we'd have to reassess the situation.0 -

I do hope you are not suggesting they claim LHA for the next 20 years or so.
What about showing the children a good strong work ethic instead of relying on the tax payer?Be happy, it's the greatest wealth

Why would they have one more?0 -
I think we're passed trying to get a work ethic going if she's knocking out kids quicker than Brad and Angelina and he's 'too sick' to work....
but still able to get his leg over and procreate it would seem so am assuming that the illness isn't in his knackers:rolleyes:0 -
The husband can't be that bl**dy ill if he can father more kids.
They sound like a bunch of lazy benefit spongers if you ask me!Be happy, it's the greatest wealth

Welshmoneylover / Cunningfox,
As previously stated, I don't agree with their way of life or choices, but the government will fund it whether or not I am involved, so your questions are largely irrelevant.
Yes, they probably will claim HB for the next 20 years, yes they probably will have more children, and no, they probably won't work.
These are their choices / circumstances, not mine, but the government and therefore public (and me in particular as a higher rate taxpayer) will fund this whether or not I am involved.0 -
I really hope the Tories get in next time and start slashing HB payments. In addition, they should take it further and cap any benefit payments for anymore than 2 kids.
Disgraceful bunch of lazy benefit spongers if you ask me.Be happy, it's the greatest wealth

If the system didn't make it easy for them, then perhaps they'd find their fat a$$ out the door on the way to the job centre.
Shameful behaviour.Be happy, it's the greatest wealth

Please can people stick to the topic and stop slagging off my family.
I know their lives are highly questionable, but that is not the point of the thread! The country will pay for their house irrespective - if you dont agree with that (and I don't) then please start another thread on it in an appropriate forum.
Mods - please help me here!0
