  • He is adorable, he has quite scruffy hair so I wanted to call him scruff but didn't think that would be very fair, so George will do. I think I would only ever be allowed one pet at a time, having said that I know when DJ died I said I wouldn't want another pet and look at me now.

A NSD today, had the parents around so took them to the local garden centre... wild I know, but mum is obsessed with crafts and making cards so I assisted her in spending a fortune. She is about £25 down now ooops :D See I just love spending money and it doesn't have to be mine or even for me!!

£4 in my tube so I am now upto date Phew

  • My hamster is so funny and cute. Hope your well.x
  • Scruffy would have been a cool name but george is better, I have convinced OH to get another dog but a golden one next time in approx 12 months.

    Well done on the NSD.

  • Yeah we wanted to call him Scruffy as he always has bedhead but didn't think it would be fair on him (I know he is only a hamster but still...) So funny the other night, I heard OH banging around downstairs, he came upstairs out of breath and said George had jumped out of his hands and he had to chase him..... Thing is George is much faster :rotfl:
I want a dog but OH says I would have to look after it and doing my shifts I wouldn't beable to, it wouldn't be fair on the dog either. Are you getting another Spaniel Snow?

Grrrrr had to pay out £5 today as 2 people are leaving our department, told them I haven't got many pennies so that will have to do. Feel stingy but I couldn't afford anything else, I'm out Friday night so I need some drinking money :o

  • Yea we are going to get another Cocker maybe a show one though I think they are calmer OH said she would groom it!
£5 is not a bad donation to a leaving present, generally at our place you put in a £1 or more if they are a good friend and then its no more than a £5.
Have you managed to get enough money for drinking on friday?

I paid £120 off my CC this morning and got 2 refunds from xmas presents that didn't turn up grrrrrrrrrrrr  I blame Royal Mail!! At least I have another £35 in my account now.

  • Morning,

Been paid today :j don't know why I'm jumping with joy it will all go again soon!

I have got to pay the deposit for the villa today. I'm not sure if I mentioned it and really can't be bothered going through my diary to see if I have (lazy I know) but I have found one in Orlando that looks gorgeous, The woman who owns it has saved the weeks for me and I have to put this deposit down, unfortunatly I STILL don't know if I'm allowed the time off  but she said due to the nature of my job if I can't go I will get a full refund. Think I will pester HR tomorrow. It's not unril September but I know how quickly the 'nice' villas get booked up.

I paid £90 off CC this morning, not a great deal but it's something I suppose! I'm not sure if it's Feb and March I get my 2 free months for Council Tax. I pay more over 10 mths to get the 2 months 'free' (well they aren't free as I'm paying for them but you know what I mean) I hope so anyway as this would help this month.

  • 2 more debts contributed towards now. I have paid £300 off my car and £90 in my blue box for mum so I now owe her £180 (I think) I really need to think about updating my sig... It won't be that much difference though because of my CC bill :(

Cam belt is finally booked in for 17th March. It's going to cost me £250 which is quite good as it's a VW specialist and he also needs to fix the bonnet for me so hopefully it won't be a big job..... fingers crossed!!
