Went back to work today, tried to take back my faulty mobile at tesco but iits just over 6 months old so they wont change it. I will get 12.50 for it on envirophone add this to a £10 staff discount voucher MIL has and 10% staff discount I should be able to pick up a decent new phone for around £30.

OH got paid 2 days wages again this month which is a little confusing as she is on unpaid leave but still welcomed.:j

Have been trailing the MSE wedding thread and OH has had a look and thinks she maybe able to make own table decorations. Had some crystals delivered today for bouquets they are not as good a quality as the last lot purchased they were supposed to be same quality just a different seller, will stick with the original seller in future.

Hi Snow, Are these the minimum payments you can pay on CC etc? I know it won't exactly be paying them off but maybe just this month you could just pay the minimum to tie you over. As for the phone have you tried Mazuma? I always found they were the best.

Wedding preperations seem to be coming along, well done you!!

I have promised myself to restart my diary on 1st Jan, I've run up my cc bill over xmas oooooops so I'm back with a vegence!!!

Im glad you will be starting your diary again! I was lucky we managed christmas with no credit which we are really pleased about. The best thing we do is buy saving stamps for morrisons during the year so dinners always paid for the MIL adds to them.
With the CC we pay not much over the minimum payment at the mo, would save approx £35 thats all and now OH has got 2 days pay so its looking better....its a good job we all like pasta!
Hope you have a good new year, I have a feeling 2010 will be better for all of us!

I will look at Mazuma as i have a decent phone i expected a little more.

Im starting the new year as I mean to go on! We all went for a lovely walk yesterday DS took his new spark scooter which MIL and FIL got him for christmas, then we went to the park.
Today I am clearing out under the stairs looking for stuff to stick on ebay, DS is grudgingly tyding his bedroom and taking all his christmas presents down and their was lots OH is 1 of 3 and MIL is 1 of 14 and the present stack up like I have never seen before. OH is washing and ironing and later will put all the books on green metropolist while I watch footballl. We also need a new sofa as the dog ripped a huge hole in ours so OH will watch out on freecycle. Monkey dog!!

Need to make some money to hit the £20, 000 target and buy wedding stuff!!

Hi update on today
Ironing upto date, ds now has a bedroom not a pit, halfway through sorting under the stairs with 1 dress on ebay and 21 books put on green metropolist.

Tommorow I am taking 3 binliners to the tip all from under the stairs and I found a small toy unit under their perfect for DD bedroom it has canvas drawers so I will stick them in the wash (obviously was DS at one point has names of toys written on canvas) and it will be like new. I mmay also take some of the garden stuff which I chopped down ages ago and is still laying in garden ummmm we shall see lol
Im sure ill find more for ebay or green metropolis.
No sofas put on freecycle today which is really unusual but will keep our eyes open.

Sold OHs dress on ebay for £24.50 which will stay in paypal hopefully this will build up with the other bits to go on and buy all the small bits for wedding also via ebay. we would like to build ebay funds up to approx £150 for wedding favours, small bridesmaids tiaras, crystals, attendants gift and if we get more maybe table centre pieces.

Bills paid over paid by approx 30 accross 3 Credit cards and over paid accidently by 80 on Kays Purchased bridesmaid hair peices out of money in paypal and a hoop thing with OH needs for under her dress.

I have been busy sorting out under the stairs and also the bedroom, will start on kitchen and bathrooms next.

OH has found someone who offers a good wedding package for £430 they do hair/make up/nails/eyebrow waxing/fake tan and other bits for 4 adults and under 12 free so that sorts OH, MIL 2 older bridesmaids and the 3 younger ones and also a rehersal of the above they also do all this at our house. They are visiting us on the 17/01 to discuss requirements and we will also have to pay £100 deposit. MIL owes us £50 and DS's tutor got cancelled today so thats £30 the other £20 will probably come from the petrol budget as car not in use (weather!).
Just Flowers, bridesmaid dresses and suits to book and odds and ends to buy OH YEA and pay for everything!!

How is the job hunting going have you managed to get any extra work yet? What's happened with Toys r us?
