Good value moisturiser - what do you use?

Aqueous Cream at Asda - brilliant (and I work in a beauty salon) it's only about £2.50 but it is the best cream ever!
Does that one smell nice, or at least have no fragrance?
I bought a huge tub of Aqueous Cream (it was as cheap) from my local chemist but it had a horrible chemical smell! I added loads of lavender essential oil, but still couldn't put in anywhere on me except my feet..Cogito, ergo sum.0 -

Would aqueous cream let skin breathe?
I didn't think so either, but I googled and found this: http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/medicines/100000160.html which said its good for dry skin. Though it also said if you are sensitive to any of the ingredience, not to use it. I know that mineral oil (paraffin oil, vaseline...etc) always ALWAYS gives me spots! It starts off good, but after a few days I get big angry whitehead spots- and not using mineral oil products I am unlucky if I get more then two a year!
I would say that the cream may make it hard for your skin to breathe but I don't think its the same for everyone, many many products are bought and sold with mineral oil in and the people using products with it in repeatedly seem not to have a problem, but to add there are some of us that do have ugly reactions to it!0 -

If I wear foundation (which I need as uneven skin tone and the odd blemish) I have to put moisturiser on under else the foundation dries in clumps and flakes off.
However, most moisturisers feel oily on my skin, plus I have clogged poes/blackheads on my nose and if anything goes near my lips I get spots/clogged pores around them too.
What to use??? Needs to be cheap really but if it lasted forever...
spot on by liz earle is really good on black heads its a tiny tube though it will last for ages I have had mine for well over a year now and its still going strong!
If you have oily skin you may need an oil to go under your moistruiser I know it sounds weird but its true!Loves Vegas shopping and beauty products!0 -

Last year i splurged and bought Bliss' Youth as we know it, this worked wonders on my skin but at over £50 a jar:eek: i can't afford to use it all year round. I'm hoping Santa brings me some though:pLoves Vegas shopping and beauty products!0 -

TSV = Today's Special Value on QVC, where QVC sells a product at a special price for one day only. TSVs on the beauty product ranges are normally selection packs of the top selling products and work out much cheaper than buying the products individually (even when you add in QVC's extortionate postage rates).

One of the very best moisturising ingredients is hyaluronic acid. It holds 1000% times it's own weight of water in its molecules.
Holland & Barrett sell pots of Hyaluronic Acid cream for only £6.99. I use it every morning and night and my skin feels great.

How much Hyaluronic Acid is in the Holland and Barrett cream? I use a Hyaluronic Acid based product but it is a bit pricey.0 -
I'm using Raspberry Seed Oil and it's great. My skin is oily, red and blotchy and it's really calmed it down. I've even started using it in the morning - I was worried it might be too greasy for that but if I spray my face with floral water first I can use less oil because the water helps spread it thinner. It's £6.99 for 50ml.0
