I use muesli in Twinks as well0 -
melt some chocolate and add muesli and glace cherries. Spread onto a tray, chill and slice - it is gorgeous!:rotfl:0

I got a couple of packets today with view to making some cookies/cereal bars or similar for the kids to have in luchboxes. I can't find any recipes though - can someone point me in the right direction for something nice and simple?
Thanks, Ness.0 -

Hi Ness,
There's an earlier thread with some ideas that may help so I've added your post to it to keep the suggestions together.

I've got a packet of no added sugar muesli that is not being eaten. Is it possible to bake with it, perhaps turn it in to muesli bars? Many thanks0

Don't see why not. Flapjacks as well. You could also do a mix of muesli, melted butter and sugar, put half in a cake tin, spread a layer of prepared fruit of your choice on top, then top with rest of muesli mix and bake. That will make a hot pudding or a cake to have with afternoon tea, maybe even lunchbox cake? One life - your life - live it!0

I've got a family cookie recipe that used porriage oats but if I have any old meusili I use that instead. As has been said Flapjacks are good basically any recipe that used oats0

Yep, I've substituted muesli for the oats in Twink's HobNobs recipe and they were really good.0

Hi babyboysmommy,
I've used it in flapjacks and crumbles. There's an earlier thread with more ideas so I've added your thread to it to keep the suggestions together.
