I add muesli to fruit crumble, it makes it taste interesting and it's great for using up the stuff that tastes like a gravel path!

Thanks for the excellent suggestions... I'm not entirely sure when I bought it, but I reckon it's probably within the last 12 months so I'll risk it.

I've got some stewed fruit in the freezer just gagging for a crumble topping and I've got a recipe for oat & seed bars that I could probably shove some into too.

    Thanks again

Give it to the birds. They will thank you.

  • Hiya,

I bought a few boxes of muesli that were reduced/bogof and nobody likes them. I don't know too much more about them as I threw the boxes away and just left the sealed plastic bags in the cupboard!!

It's got the usual muesli type stuff in it and has raisins too.

All I know for certain is that it will be a low/reduced sugar as that is what I always buy.

What can I do with them? And if you have any ideas can you tell me 'how' I do it as well please - I'm only just getting into home cooking and need a helping hand!!

Thank you all so much xx
  • Chocolate crunchies? Mix them up with melted chocolate, put into papercases and watch them be devoured. Don't tell the family that you've used the dreaded muesli though!

That was what I was thinking! Sainsbury's Basic chocolate or Tesco's Value Choc is about 20p per bar. Buy some of these and melt away.

  • Half oats and half muesli is lovely in twinks' hobnobs! Just search for the recipe, they're incredibly popular!

My friend drowned in a bowl of muesli. A strong currant pulled
    him in.
