Sending you a big hug and a cuppa.

How 'bout scouring charity shops and finding something you could take in/let out. If any one asks, the celebs call it "vintage" and it's very 'now' dahlink!

Good luck - I didn't know FedEx could deliver on Sundays. How bout calling your local Fedex office and asking if you can colect the package?

I'm SURE your daughter will go to the prom.
    wishing you all the best.

Its a pity because I've also got a dress which is a size 12. The school where I work is having a leavers prom and lots of the girls cant afford dresses so one of the teachers has built up a collection of dresses for the girls to wear. My daughter has just given me permission to lend out her ball dress to one of them but its a large size 12 im afraid. How about going round all the charity shops. Sometimes they have some really good quality stuff. Good luck. Let us know howyou get on.

It is no wonder you are down and exhausted but on the bright side even with everything you are doing you are obviously raising a wonderful daughter so don't be to hard on yourself.

All the above suggestions are good ones and somehow it will all come together and she will look beautiful and will have an amazing time.

    Hugs.

Started thinking about you as I am taking the dress into school today. How about phoning your local radio station and telling them your story. You could write it down first so you dont forget anything. Often they are quite good about that kind of thing and they might be able to put out an appeal for a dress for you but dont forget to mention the size.

Also have you thought of putting out a note to your neighbours appealing for help. You could offer to have the dress cleaned afterwards.

Have you tried TKMAXX or even a dress exchange, ie you could buy the dress then sell it back to them, I know my grandma did this for a black tie do once, and sold it back to them saying "ive no use for it, Ive needed a dress like this once in 60 years! I wont need it again, but I need the money!"
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...

I don't know why you thought anyone would shout at you - you seem to have gone about this prom in a very money saving DFW way. :T Hope the dress arrives.
