Virgin TV without the phone line?

I was thinking of quitting VM because if I wanted a TV package then I have to take out a phone line and I do not want a phone line, it is the reason why I went with them in the first place, no line rental.
However I did think that if I quite them then I am gonna have to get a phone line for ADSL with someone else any way.
Is there any way to get a tv package without a phone like for a decent deal? I already have cable broadband size M for about £18 p/m..

Dirty_Dave (I shudder to think what sort of programs you want)...
Yeah, I have a cable package deal with BB & TV (for tenants) I'm sure it is a standard deal.
Have you thought of looking on the VM website?? Bit radical I know...

btw can't stand that Branston bloke: Wouldn't trust him further than I could throw him, read Tom Bower's book on him for more info...
Cheers!

I forgot to add that I checked out the packages and the Broadband + Digital TV is £31 p/m which is a bit too much, so for that price I might as well get Broadband + Digital TV + Phone for £19.50 + £11 line rental which works out 50p cheaper (wow
)
I wonders if I could strike a deal for about 25 quid, maybe I should call them.0 -
Personally I wouldn't have anything to do with VM, but if you must then be ultra careful about how you "agree" terms of deals over the phone. I have been stitched up previously by VM staff who will basically say one thing to you and then type something else into your account notes which are subsequently treated as gospel record of the conversation. They're currently chasing me for contract termination fees of £120 even though I was thru the 12 month period when I cancelled (one of their sales agents fabricated some notes on a subsequent call that claimed I'd agreed to a further term). I've even had it from the horse's mouth, so to speak, as I eventually battled my way thru once to a manager (Kevin Sullivan) at VM's call centre to discuss my dispute and when I asked him how he'd feel if someone had signed him up to a 12 month contract behind his back he said he'd "personally never agree anything over the phone as 'it' goes on ..."0

Have a look at the above thread. You will get what you want for £25. Also read what I did and you can also get £50 credit. HTH.0 -
I've just signed up for VM TV only, XL and V+HD for £27.5pm. No need for a phone line, it's a common myth, I only recently found out.
Moved over from Sky because the have TV on demand which I find out handy. I had the full VM package until 2 years ago, but moved over to Sky because VM (Telewest at the time) broadband was too unreliable, and often down.0
