Hmmmm - all the doom & gloomsters on house prices seem to have gone a bit quiet - anything to do with the stock market 'crash'?
Still feel the same as I always have - a house is always worth something, a bit of paper can easily be worthless v quickly.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I can imagine Kirsty Allsop (from Splinta) saying it wouldn't have crashed if HIPS weren't introduced.
As an aside, I was watching "Bowling for Columbine" and one of the themes was that, as a nation, certain stories were news and other stories were pushed out or considered not newsworthy enough. I wonder whether in the UK we get obsessed with houses while living in ignorance of stock markets, interest rates and general economic principles.A house isn't a home without a cat.
Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

Hi
I'm just wondering whether the interest rate has remained more stable because the bank of england now determine it as oppossed to the goverment as it was under the Conservatives0 -
Ha. The BoE only control short term interest rates. The markets control real long term interest rates - and they are heading up!
The BoE went on a record gilt buying spree to keep rates down this week!
