is this the cheapest contract without cashback

hi

been looking at the orange 5 contract which gives you 50 mins and 50 text for £4.89 pm. (term 36 months) with a new phone, nokia 2330 and another handset after 18 months.

I looks ideal for my 14 year twin boys.

I can get £30 quidco as well and if I sell the new handset I could get about £30 ish for it.

so

36 x £4.89 = £176.04
less £30 quidco and sell phone
=
£116.04

which will work out at £3.22 pm without any cashback hassle. It will work out even less if I sell the second handset which I will get at 18months.

what do you guys think.....can it be beaten? I have weighed up what it would cost just on a payg and this still comes in cheaper with the mins/text.

    e2save do it for 4.10 a month with t-mobile 18 months, 100 texts, 100 mins.
take into account quidco, works out to £3.23 a month - only a penny out.
Monthly cost is £15 a month before the cashback.

    God I am good!

    18x4.10 = 73.80
    Minus £40 quidco
    works out to £1.87

No idea what Orange Weds is - but with t-mobile, the voicemail you can work around by dialing your own mobile number (from the mobile) and listen to the voicemail, the charge is deducted against your monthly allowance.

Just remember if they go over their 50mins/texts you will be charged at normal rates defined in the contract.

I believe only 3 if you ask for a £0 limit, and T-mobile Solo Fixed, prevent you going over the limit.

Nice, but I prefer not to spend to get a freebie :rotfl:So cheap is I !

Last film I saw was Star Wars the return of the red thingmajing in 1999, it was hilarious, best comedy ever I thought (couldn't stop laughing).

Your deal of £3.22 a month is cheap especially if its not cashback - I guess you have the best deal. Cashback is the only other option to get it cheaper.
