Raising £1000 until end of October, is it possible?

Hi all,
Due to an emergency I had to use the company corporate card. We are allowed to use it for personal expenses but need to pay it back and not claim it as expenses.
So basically I need to come up with £1000 to pay the card off. If I use my salary, I will go into a cicle of difficulties. From all the up the income ideas, what would you suggest to from now till the 30th October, raise £1000. Is it doable (I expect it to be almost impossible)?
Cheers,

Interest free credit card? That way you can pay it back monthly. Or could you speak to your employer and ask them to take it out of your wages.0

Car boot sale, ebaying, could you do any extra work or freelance stuff? We raised a lot through doing car boots and ebaying when we were short last year, anything that wasn't stappled down got sold!
Good luckThanks for the advice Martin! :money:Member no. 920 - Proud to be dealing with our debts0 -

I think a lot of these have already been suggested but i'm just going to list everything I can think of :j
Ebay - anything you can think of - books, clothes, toiletries, dvds, cds, household items, computer games etc.
Carboots - as above - but will make less
Amazon - books, dvds etc
0% interest free credit card
0% interest free overdraft with bank
over time, paid at current job
temp waiting/bar work with agencies (who'll more often than not want you to start asap)
temp cleaning jobs with agencies (again, can start asap)
freelance work
babysitting/housesitting (may not be able to get straight away as prob depends on word of mouth and building trust)
Dogwalking/dog sitting (maybe the above applies)
Cutting down on spending until end of the month (clothing, food, luxuries etc)
Hmm, thats all I can think of for now! But maybe if you still struggle, you can explain to your work and ask for an extension to pay it back, or ask a family member or friend to lend it to you temporarily.
Hope it helps.'It is better to live your own destiny imperfectly than to live an imitation of somebody else's life with perfection' Elizabeth Gilbert.

One time in an emergency I manged to go a whole month eating nothing buy cheap asda weetabix for breakfast, a buttered roll at lunch and 2 packs of 9p asda noodles for my evening meal.
I went a month like that and staved a small fortune, not near a grand though, and not everyone could last a month.
But dire circumstances sometimes need drastic measures. When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -

Well, it was a miserable existance.
Thankfull the job I have doesnt require a great deal of physical excertion.
If I was a man digging holes in the road I would have been dead.
Its not something I would wish to repeat in a hurry, but I was in a hole and had to find serious ways of getting out of it. Drastic measures sometimes have to be put up with to get things sorted out.
I would like to say however that my stomach churns at the thought of eating a packet of those 9p asda noodles! When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -
Hi guys, thanks for your replies, have been busy reading matched betting stuff as this is a good way of raising £££ quick. Ok, I have also flogged a couple of things on ebay. Should I turn this into a diary? Like updating it with the gains by the end of the week?Member 7 of 100 to 10k - £100 to £10k = £1490
