    HI dotty

Just posted a similar post and I think Lynz is right. It is pretty tiring keeping on top of things. I am having a bad day too, but one thing is for sure NOTHING BUT NOTHING would persuade me to go back to how I was.

As I said in my post, when I am feeling like this I would have bought a chinese and a bottle of wine. But now, I just couldn't do it too myself - it would choke me! that is how I know I have changed for the better

    Hi Dotty,

I know how you feel, I am sick of being a juggler too! :D
It seems no-one but DFWs know how we all feel, and sometimes that makes it harder, I think.

Big hugs, and remember that pin-sized speck way ahead is your light at the end of the tunnel, getting closer all the time. :o
Sometimes I feel like a pelican. Whichever way I turn, I've still got an enormous bill in front of me.

We all rock. We really do. When the rest of the world is saying 'Ooooh, the TV says I must have all these shiny things' we're becoming the advertisers worst nightmare. Yes, we all owe people money, but I'd like to think that we're all learning to appreciate the smaller things in life and not just reaching for the plastic for a days pointless spending when we get upset. No, we log on here and rant at each other!

Can you imagine what it's going to be like when we're all debt free? We wont know what to do with the extra money, as we (hopefully) won't expand our lifestyles to fit the cash! I know I enjoy the feeling that I'm coping on my own, and being able to look after my daughter on so little money.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

I know just how you feel, the constant juggling of one thing and another and then just when you think you have made progress something else crops up and if it isn't that then it seems the time between payments is getting shorter.

But we are all riding over those bumps and when we stumble which we all seem to from time to time we can get back up, brush ourselves down and carry on.

To change your life and habits is difficult and yes painful but one day it will all be a distant memory and the lessons learnt will make life that much sweeter.

For me there is no doubt having the MSE board to come to makes it a little easier, personally i think Martin and the MSE should be taught in schools.:D

Another expression for it is robbing Peter to pay Paul. I do it all the time too and its a horrible feeling. Its usually the overdraft that suffers im afraid.

The thing that gets me down most about it for me is that i've got myself in my situation so young! I'm not denying that theres people out there younger than me in a worse situation, I just feel like i'm missing out in a way. I miss out on so much because of not having any money, it doesn't help with me being the only non-student in a house of 9!! I have hardly any social life but then again it is my own fault and im paying for it now with added interest.

Saying that though, it has certainly taught me a lesson, there is no way that when I "settle down" with a career etc that I will let my situation get like it is now. I would do anything to be able to start saving for something but its just pointless at the moment because the money would be better paying something off!! Ahhh well, such is life. x

Don't get down, if we are here it means we have admitted that we have a problem and have reached our "lightbulb moment" therefore we are all on the way up.

Its a horrible feeling, but worrying about it and loosing sleep wont do you any good either...

The one good thing about going through all this hell for the last two years is...I know my rights which I didnt before, I know the tricks, the bluffs all the tactics ...and it makes you stronger......and once this debt is cleared in Sept '07...none of them will ever get their mucky paws on my hard earned cash again!!!!
