My O2 retention deal coming to an end...what to do now?
Hi all,
I've already had a look, but struggled to find anything to help with my little dilema. So sorry if I missed something already!
Basically, I rang to cancel my contract with o2 nearly 18 months ago and was given a nice little retention deal - I kept my phone as it was still fairly new, so I received £100 credit, and also half price line rental for the duration (about £10 for online 25), I also have the web bolt on at £7 so my monthly bill never usually comes to more than £20.
However, now my phone is getting rather unpredictable and old and I would like a new one. Will my half price line rental continue if I upgrade or should I try to find a similar deal elsewhere?
Any help greatly appreciated!

You have to phone them to find out what they are willing to offer you now. More likely you could keep the same tariff with a new phone than not (no point them losing a customer) unless you ask a phone which is too expensive for the tariff.
Worth scouting around for deals elsewhere still.0 -

you might struggle, o2 are not being very gernerous at the moment.0 -
You'll be unlikely to get the discounted line rental on renewal, they appear to have stopped that completely for a start. Consider buying a phone and go for a Simplicity SIM only tariff maybe?Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0
