Hi, I am in the middle of a dipsute with our landlord and we have just received the 'Response to Dispute' form from TDS. I was wondering if anyone else out there had been through this process and could gove me some advice - on the form it says under 'please send us a summary of your side of the story' 'Please do not just refer us to the documents you are sending. If you do, the adjudication may be delayed.'
We have had a lot of correspondence with the letting agents over our dispute and I wondered if anybody knew whether this meant that you had to literally describe every letter that has been sent, or if it's just there to stop people not bothering to write any description of what happened and just writing 'see documents' if that makes sense...?!
I'd particularly like to hear from anyone who did not describe every single letter, but still knows that the supporting evidence they sent was used by TDS in making their desicion (and in particular if they won it!!)
Thanks!!

write a detailed account of why you are challenging the deductions - in this narrative if you have another document which backs up key facts then say "refer to attachment 1) 2) 3) etc etc and then put a list of Attachments at the end of the account and send it all recorded delivery
DPS assume they will return all monies to tenants unless proved otherwise0
