Mobile phone numbers....
Hi,
This is my first visit to this board so I'm hoping that someone can answer my question.....
I have 2 mobile phones (one with o2 and one with orange). I did need two phones but now I could use just having one. My contract with Orange expires next month and I was wondering, if I cancel my contract with Orange can I transfer (port?) the orange number over to O2? Or is it too late???
I do help someone know the answer to this!
Thanks

No not too late.
Ask Orange for your pac code, give that to O2 (which will end your Orange contract when they action it), your old Orange number goes over to O2.

I think these days, it's only Voda that can only do ports at contract start.0

I thought you couldn't port a number across mid contract - i.e. after the first 14 or whatever days. Learn something knew.
If you can, just have to be careful if you are on a cashback deal.0 -
Some definitely do not let you change numbers after the start period, some won't even let you if you fail to do so at order time. I believe some do as above mid contract, so just ring up and ask 02.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0
