basically, time to upgrade, i want the n86 with an amazing price plan. im currently on £25/m something 950 with n95 8gb (which was free, got it almost as soon as it came out) i get 700 texts, 150 mins, 25 picture messages and 25 video calling minutes and £5 to spend on anything.

phoned to upgrade just then, he offers me unlimited texts, 200 mins £22.50/m and £147 for n86!

right lol in your dreams mate.

is it just me or does that offer seem like a joke?

ive been a customer for a long time, even he admitted that but he didn't seem to want to do anything to keep me.

he was saying that it is a sensitive handset so need to pay for it

and he was offering me an SE with "amazing music quality" got an ipod for that

and then the 5800

when i buy a phone i buy the best i can get which is fair enough and to me the n86 is a great phone.

anyway just felt like letting off steam.

How can i make them blow my mind????

edit: loyalty discount too!!!! how do i get one of those? was reading a thread and the guy was saying they were crediting him £20 every month or something like that

Ive found them to be extremely difficult to bargain with over the last few years and i have also been with them for a lot of years.
The only thing i found was that if you get through to the call centre in scotland they are so much better at listening to you and giving you what you want (within reason!)
When you ring up, ask for disconnections and you should get put through to scotland.

I tried that hah i was saying ill go somewhere else is that what you want and he was like well i am trying my best.

then he said what do i get out of doing you a good contract for cheap. well you get peace of mind at the thought you have done a fellow human being a good deed. right disconnections then.

yeah that seems fair as i don't consider myself being unreasonable

yeah i phoned twice and the second was slightly more helpful. first guy said i couldnt have n86 for free at all and the second said i could but at £35. so getting somewhere

hmmm ive managed to get it down to £50 with the same contract which he was assuring me was the cheapest i will get. i'm not disputing that, just not as cheap as i wanted. he's sending the phone and i will have 14 days to change my mind....
