  • McArthur Glen Thorntons usually have samples. I haven't been there yet but being chocolate week I'm sure they'll have some tasting going on.

Glad I am not the only one bemoaning the Capital City centralization of everything - excluding Cardiff.

It is not only chocolate tasting that does not spread itself around, I have just had a hissy fit :eek:with my professional body who have some wonderful events - in London but deny those of out in the wilds the benefits!

However I had a second hissy fit :eek:with my local community for being sexists. We are a long standing community of professional geeks and as a female it has not been easy. I knew that there was a new world wide happening of female geek diners. An email about a diner in Leeds prompted me to Google for others and I found one in Manchester for the Science Festival.

Given our committee has emailed details of the Festival out to the community and I am very disappointed that the Manchester Girl Geek diner was not mentioned!

I know I am off message!
