Boots £5 No7 voucher is back...

I'm glad this is till working for us - it didn't work for me today though, but I think I know why.

I bought 2 reduced on SEL R&M lippys, £2.75 each on the SEL. Took it to a lovely SA, gave her my 250 points mag voucher - no problem, happy little beep. Then the 750 points acm voucher - nu huh, not having it. Then she said "well never mind, I'll just add the 750 points to your card". Then I gave her my goldie - and it only deducted £2.75 from the total. We both looked at each other puzzled. Lovely SA called over her equally lovely manager, and they both tried every concievable combination to get the happy beeps. The till was just was not having it at all. Then we started again, and found out that although one of the lippys was scanning at £2.75, the other was scanning at £1.66! This apparently was what was screwing everything else up, so in the end I just paid the £1.66 and luckily the SA added my 750 points on to my card (her manager wouldn't have, she kept saying that the voucher couldn't be used with another promotion etc).

There were no signs at all anywhere saying that some of the lippys were less than £2.75 - and the 750 points voucher worked perfectly fine in the same store on Thursday, with 2 reduced R&M cosmetic bags.

The lippy which messed everything up for me was a red, shade 440C.

glad you got your 750 points balletshoes:) Sometimes, both points vouchers won't work because the SA has forgotten to press total after scanning the first voucher. Whenever I have vouchers that beep, I always asked the SA nicely to press total and 9 times out of 10 this works.

Those lippies are getting cheaper and cheaper. I wonder if they are reducing them further to stop the glitch working

haven't managed to try this glitch out yet as most stores near me don't stock R&M, fingers crossed I can try it tomorrow:o

Hi could anybody tell me if the R&M lippies are reduced on SEL and are antionwide as my local boots still gots them for 11 quids or so.
Make up bags are for 1.19 though...

Found out today that Aintree in Liverpool doesn't stock R and M. I know 'cause I went to try it! Still I needed to buy some vitamins and stuff so spent what I thought was dead on £10 as had £2.50 off healthcare if £10 spent. For some strange reason it only came to £9.xx but the £2.50 still worked and got 100 points for vitamin C so £7.50 and a goldie. Then bought some socks that I needed, £5, 50 points and another goldie. Finally bought some Toni and Guy, £5.49, 150 points and another goldie.

So spent £18, got stuff worth £26, 300 points and 3 goldies. Used one of the goldies to get No 7 wipes for DD which seem to have gone up again! Used to only pay 50p for them......now £1.50! Got two goldies saved in the vague hope that there may still be some reductions on R and M if I can get there towards the end of the week.

Hi I could have told you that, cos Ive been there loads of times, I dont think they have that good a clearance section either, which is a shame :-(

also for the liverpool bootsers - no reduced r&m in speke either ( went yesterday), dont stock it in either of the southport branches so dont bother wasting a journey to those two!!!

Its only certian shades that are reduced
