What a great spot. Thanks Sally and others who have helped me work it out.
Its lovely to see all the familiar names posting again, feels a bit like a school reunion. Lets just hope there are going to be lots more glitches like this in the run up to Christmas.
Well I visited two stores this morning and didnt get offered the 750 point vouchers. I did get 2 RM lippies, with 250 point from mag and used a goldie. Paid 50p, got a goldie back (which Im not sure I should have!), so a nice, profitable shop thank you very much.
Anyway, while I was in Boots i found these manicure sets reduced to £1.25:
manicure set
I'm not sure it was exactly this one, but the contents are the same. There was another smaller set reduced to just 75p. Excellent little stocking fillers and always useful. And great if you are trying to make a spend up to the magic £5!
There were also some offers on Trevor Sorbie haircare. A sign said 1/3 off, but some shampoos were already reduced to half price, so £4.89 down to £2.4x. I had them price checked too, and they came up at £1.6x, ie a third off half price. So £5 shampoos etc for £1.60.
Also lots of minis down to 39p (I think this might already have been mentioned?) Again, great for reaching £5 and a new Goldie.“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0 -
Nice to see the £5 No7 voucher back. Wasn't expecting to see it until early/mid November
Not so nice to see the tone of some of the posts here.
Now where's my Boots !!!!!! mag aka the Boots Christmas catalogue to drool all over?
P.S. Last two weeks in Cambridge Retail Park, the ACM refused to give me any ACM vouchers, I hope it will not be the same this week!DFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -
I managed to find the make up bags and lippies in a store today. did the thing twice, sa refused the third cos I had printed the acm coupons in another store!! i've heard it all now!
anyway, got 1750 points for a £2.90 spend x0 -
Cant wait to get spending some Goldies. Always a good time to stock up."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. Just planning my trip to Boots tomorrow and I have run out of No7 Stay Perfect lippie (it's the only one I wear) so plan to stock up in store (get the goldie) and also use my 500 points on 20 quid spend.
However have found the lippie online and it's on 3 for 2 and also priced 4.65?! - this used to cost me nearer 9 pounds?!
I noticed moisture drench is still over 9 quid - doesn't make sense to me?
Don't suppose anyone knows if it's same price instore and on 3 for 2?
Just wondering if I'm better off foresaking the points instore and ordering online.
Be grateful if someone could PM me if there's anyone that is aware of why it's so cheap online x0 -
Just been at Boots buying a few of the Sanctuary sets and was told it was a different offer every week, it's mens next week. Does anyone know or can give a list of the weekly offers like last year is was soooo helpful. I think it was Broclo, if she is out there?
Also I realised that the vouchers wont print if the store doesn't sell the item ie 750 point one for Ruby and Millie won't print if they are not sold in the smaller Boots, I think. I realised when I went to a large store and it printed ok.0 -
Hey all,
Can I just ask quickly if the voucher is valid for Max Factor? As was going to buy mascara but would be handy if £5 off..
Also, anyone like to pm me about the 'glitch' to get some extra points? I used all of my mums and she isn't too happy with me! lol...
you all seem so lucky with the reduced stuff etc, my local boots (although it is MASSIVE) never seems to have much in the way of reduced stuff that you all get! grrr! x

If you mean the £5 'Goldie' voucher you get when you sepnd £5, no, it's valid only on No.7 and Ruby & Millie.
The glitch has already been detailed earlier on in the thread, (two versions of it, in fact), so no need for anyone to pm you about it.
Basically, if you get the 750 pts when you buy two R&M items in the in-store advantage card machine, and if your store has any R&M lipsticks reduced to £2.75, you can get two of those for £5.50, less the £5 Goldie, leaving £0.50 to pay, and receiving 750 points.
If your store does not have the reduced lipsticks, it works on R&M mascara brushes too at £4 each. So, £8 for two, less £5 goldie, leaves £3 to pay and 750 extra points gained.
However, I tried this yesterday on a mascara brush (£4) and an eye shadow brush (£6) and the till rejected it saying I'd not met the criteria. Major bummer as it cost me £10 for the brushes which I can use but didn't really *need* and I got no extra points

Hi, hieveryone - no it's just valid on Ruby and Millie and No.7. But I'm sure there will be a Max Factor voucher round soon - though as far as I remember it is usually for £2 and i valid on other brands as well. hth0

Oohh thanks, I read through the whole thing but just couldn't work it out! My brain is mush - thank goodness for October week and can get into adult company again instead of 6 year olds all day!
Think I'll take a wee trip to Boots tonightMy local one has like one stand of reduced stuff, it's infuriating!! Looking forward to a Max Factor voucher...!
On a side note, has anyone tried the False Lash effect mascara?? It's on my wish list, not too sure about it though?
Thanks! xxx
