Nemo were quite difficult to deal with when we complained almost 2 years ago, but we were finally successful through the FOS, hopefully they are easier now.

And yes me, although I did have to take it to the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) to be successful.

I take it you had a loan with these as well then.
If so was the loan arranged by Nemo or a broker?

hi , have started proceedings with the nemo claim however i need to send more info off to the compensation scheme but now i have a private company wanting to make the claim on my behalf as they say they will get me more money are they just saying this so i go with them ?

Hi Bez,
I am new to this too and I'm sure someone with much more knowledge than me will be along soon.

However if you claim yourself you get all the money, the information that you give to any company is the same information that you will have to give. Also you are working hard for yourself no other company would work as hard for you. There are many people who have posted on here who have been left without any feedback from the companys representing them, the opposite is also true.

But take control yourself, you feel much better and there will be loads of support and advice every step of the way from this site.

Its nice to hear from you.


Just a bit of advice, I personally would not go with a private claiming company, they will charge you hun, carry on as you are and just give the FSCS as much info as possible in copies if you can, they will pass this on to Deloittes who are helping them out, and Deloittes request for more info from the lenders.;)
