Kitchen worktops - Bushboard

  • hi - searching the web for reviews on these 2 worktops and came across your posts...

    did you go for the bushboard in the end? i've heard duropal is the 'rolls royce' etc; how did you get on? i'm looking at the omega range - can't post link as i'm first-timer here! google 'betterkitchens'.

    I went for Duropal. Mirabelle Corro, which is a light, warm colour - similar in shade to the Vanilla Quartz. Matches with Colorfill 071 Pumice.

    Bushboard were 38mm thickness as opposed to standard 40mm IIRC.
  • a nice worktop. what made you opt for the duropal in the end? i really need to see both side-by-side to make a direct comparison. either way, i'll be ordering thorough a local timber yard (bushboard £62 per 3m sq, will enquire about duropal).
