Orange: End of contract and the iPhone
Comments

Orange have already said they'll have plenty of stock, maybe O2 have been holding stock back to create more demand (as if it were needed). Orange are hardly going to announce they'll start selling the iPhone and then say 'oh wait, we don't actually have any stock'0

I phoned Orange earlier so that I could give my cancellation notice. Not surprisingly, they didn't seem quite as bothered about losing my custom as they have done in the past!
The person in Customer Retentions informed me that provided I had pre-registered my interest online there would be no issue with available stock at launch, although I am not completely convinced. Anyway, I went ahead and started the 30-day cancellation clock ticking. I'll probably end up staying with Orange provided they make their announcement and keep their word on stock in the next three weeks.0 -
The next version will be coming up for release by January. The 3GS will be old

I though the next one was slated for August next year?0 -
Quite possibly. My comment was somewhat tongue-in-cheek.
