They look good, Helen :) Thanks for letting us know they're available in Poundland. Might be going there tomorrow so hopefully they'll have some!
  • Yes it's my own handwriting!

I cant be fiddling about printing out messages and then trying to align a punch so the message is exactly in the middle, its easier to do it by hand.

The secret is a good fin nibbed fibre pen and writing in a higgledy piggledy way, so that your letters aren't straight or regular, that way you get away it not being in dead straight lines. Then for a cutsey look just dot on the ends of the letter parts.

I think I got the idea from Art Attack a couple of years ago!

  • Wilkinsons have candy canes with red, green and white stripes, they are slightly smaller than Poundlands and come in boxes of 12 for 97p.

Wilkinsons also have nets of 15 snowman and santas and are on offer 2 nets for 97p - bagain ..... I got lots for my sweetie bags.

This has been on my desk since July. Its a Poundland Bingo Board that I have painted with a matchpot paint. I have got a shopping list pad and calendar tab, but now I am stuck.

I need to do a sort of collage using lovely papers but so far I am uninspired. Not sure whether I should add a pen on a string either?

Any ideas or know anywhere I can find inspiration?

I think its the size that flumoxing me, it larger than most things I work with.

Hi Flyingpig just looking at your bingo boards and thought you might like these I have made quite a few using different papers and they are quite pretty, maybe you could do something similar to your boards. Some of mine are made from the backs of large board backed envelopes and some from mount board. Also wanted to say what fab ideas you have and such a fantastic blog, well done :T I have become a [STRIKE]stalker[/STRIKE] follower :D

Flyingpig - I love all your ideas - they are fantastic!!:T I must admit I used to be a snob about the £1 shop but now I love them and also HomeBargains - I love, love, love that shop and sometimes their things are cheaper than the £1 shop, dont know if you have one near you?.
Your Halloween boxes are gorgeous - going to see if our local one has those stickers tomorrow!!
Where do you get your little bells from??

I don't think I'd ever be able to write as neat as that it would probably look as though a child had written it lol
might have a go though just to see
keep your ideas coming I love seeing them
