The website for Dollar Store Crafts is
http://dollarstorecrafts.com/
I was also going to put direct links in my blog to Dollar store crafts as well.
It’s really brilliant, it takes a bit of time to get around it, but there are some brilliant ideas there .
Like a hedgehog made from one of those wooly dusting mits – I have got my mit ready, just got to find the time.
They also have tote of bags made from tea towels!
My latest Poundshop finds today are:-
Box of 15 – red and white candy canes – I got 4 boxes so I can get my snowman soup gift packs started. Also boxes of 8 sachets of Areo hot chocolate to go in packs as well.
I also want the candy canes for the students I work with at school, I was going to put two candy canes together, tied with red ribbon, a couple of little jingle bells and a tag – I need a little saying to go on the tag – any ideas along the candy cane line?
Packets of 20 mini silver bulldog clips, for mini advent calendars and mini clipboards – 79p in Wilkinsons
My only grumble with Poundland at the mo is that they have some lovely 3D Christmas tag stickers – but they have to & from printed on them , aghhh, they are so cute, but I can’t see anyway of covering up the lettering.

Not sure what the 3d sticker tags look like but could you use maybe a star sticker or something like that?0

This has been on my desk since July. Its a Poundland Bingo Board that I have painted with a matchpot paint. I have got a shopping list pad and calendar tab, but now I am stuck.
I need to do a sort of collage using lovely papers but so far I am uninspired. Not sure whether I should add a pen on a string either?
Any ideas or know anywhere I can find inspiration?
I think its the size that flumoxing me, it larger than most things I work with.

Those bingo boards are brilliant - I made something like this last year for my DS2's nursery teachers. Covered greyboard in decorative paper, added sticky ribbon and some letters saying "Notes" or some such. I punched a hole in the top (in case they wanted to hang them up) and added ribbon. SOme I put magnets to the back. I also stuck a peg (very much like your decorated pegs) to the bottom to hold receipts or a pen.
Was looking to do them again this year for the family and wanted something different and this would be perfect must get myself off to Poundland next week (or maybe even at the weekend)0 -

Adding a pen would be good, I should think. Then, nobody can ever complain there's not a pen around to write on it.
Maybe you could include a method to hang it up by or stick it to a fridge as well? That way, it won't get lost under paperwork, etc.0 -
