Hi
Sold quite a few cd's & dvd's on ebay with no problem at all, however received message from the buyer today saying "thanks for broken case it is cracked every where i wont a new case sending out or i wont bit refund back please reply" (don't you just love it when people are polite, well at least they used please at the end)
There was no problem with the case when I posted it, otherwise I would not have listed my item as being in excellent condition.
Obviously there's no point in sending another case, so how much should I offer my buyer as a refund??
Cheers all

Replacement jewel cases are about £5 for 10 delivered, or £20 for 50. They are not worth much at all.
As a former CD/DVD seller myself, it's worth keeping a few in stock for instances like this, or if you have one that just needs tarting up a bit<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
I'd refund a small percentage of the selling price, maybe about 10-15% depending how much it sold for. [not much help, I know...]Undergrad law student. Take my advice with a pinch of salt! :rotfl:0

Sounds like a right chancer, have you any proof of the damage? I would ask for him to send a photo before giving him any money back.:j30/7/10:j
