lyricalgangsta - someone would have to bring the lappy in for you in person as otherwise customs duties would be extremely high.
US laptops are generally not guaranteed internationally unless they belong to someone with a US address (genuine one).
  • I want a laptop but have no idea about them I think this is a good deal. Click on the link. Please quote me if I am wrong it would be very helpful..

    Out of stock.

Doesn't say what the processor speed is.

40GB HDD and 256MB RAM are very poor for something trying to run Media Center.

sarah090182 - I really don't recommend you to buy a medion. Far too unreliable. Suggest Dell, HP, Acer instead.

My daughter had a $1000 worth of goods delivered as a gift from her father, she paid around £100 customs duty. I must admit although I've bought goods outside UK, I've only bought cheap goods or books both of which don't involve duty, so can't say if the amount you pay is standard, or can be hit or miss.

With the $ as it is at the moment, even with customs duty, I would guess you can get a good deal if your'e paying the same in $ as you would be in £ in UK. While I agree you should check before you buy, international warranty on laptops is not unusual, even on cheaper models.
