Sorry for confusion I was talking about the other model the L300 19Q and comparing it to the Bennetts L300 1AQ The Bennetts one doesn't have xp on it but vista home premium

I have seen a Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-1AD Celeron M/575 2.0GHz, 120GB HDD, 1GB RAM, 15.4" it is going for £299
There is also a Toshiba NB100-11R Atom N270 1.6GHz, 80GB HDD, 512MB RAM, 8.9" TFT, NO OPT, Linux

What a SHAME that these seem to be the same people as CGK ELECTRICALS (recently exposed here) - The CGK PET SUPPLIES website has a link to the SG ELECTRICALS site. Best keep away from that one as well...

Scott/Gary/Buster have gone all shy and removed any references to Freephone Number 08002425409 from the website. They must be so busy shifting those bargain Laptop's and Nintendo DS's that they don't have time to pick up the phone.

Got a replacement yesterday - excatly the same problem - the laptop is fitted with Intel 4500 Integrated Graphics, not the specified ATI Radeon Dedicated Graphics Card

any thoughts / comments welcomed, i.e. do i have a any comeback with breach of contract/consumer protection etc etc; after all this is two incorrectly supplied laptops

Sammy, can you please stop linking to them (and remove the links from your posts). You could well be causing people who haven't followed this thread to click through to them and get scammed by them

And if there are admins reading can I suggest all links to the SG/CGK websites are removed from the thread please

OK JDPOWER, I have edited the post and removed the links. I had, naively, thought that it would be useful for others, if they were searching, to see if those companies were safe to deal with. Finding the listed sites would then warn them off.
I see that, thanks to actions by other members here, EBID have finally terminated CGKELECTRICALS as a seller on EBID. I wonder what they are going to spring up again as? BUSTER1980ELECTRICALS perhaps?
