I've just purchased a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Laptop on behalf of my 17yr son who is starting an appreticeship with Corus (TATA). That's his bonus cheque gone:cool:

Why FS? We bought an FS from Spain last year and it´s been great, touching wood! Aside from the Spanish version of Windows and despite being quite savvy with a pc, the basic Spanish for computer terminology just about frazzled me:eek:

I've been looking for a laptop for my eldest who's off to uni on Sunday. We really need to get it today and having left it too late for mailorder, our only local hope is Comet or curry's. I've seen a Fujitsu and Acer that may do but gotta wait 'til o/h gets back tonight to check it out. If anyone can tell me of a good spec/model, mostly for email, myspace,googling and a little research, I would be very grateful. Thanks.

Wow, looks like a nice machine to me bandraoi but I'm really not an expert. I do know that I have been very happy with my Acer but I think that HP have a good name too.
