You can get it via quidco too.
You can get cheaper though if you just want basic0 -
The HP looks like a decent spec, and good for that price, however, my budget is only £300 but could stretch to £350 for the better spec... any suggestions? i was thinking of refurb laptops from PC world. By the way does anyone know which days they update their website??
Thanks in advance:TAnon£mon£y

We use Dell extensively at our place of work and have always been satisfied with the quality. I noticed this deal on their website: http://configure.euro.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?b=&c=uk&cs=ukbsdt1&kc=N4X10001&l=en&oc=N0910001&rbc=N0910001&s=bsd

Further to my last post, if you take the link supplied, you have to remove the on-site support option to get the laptop down to the £199 price.0

I think that I have been posting on the wrong board, so I am keeping my fingers crossed for any help and support with this.
My daughter now needs a laptop. She is off to University next year and she would use her laptop for homework and her music mainly. I have an Acer, which I am very pleased with, which is influencing my decision. However, I am very much open to suggestions. The very top of our budget for her imminent 18th birthday is £400.
The ones that I like the look of are :-

I can work a computer, but the suggestion for PC/Laptop spec may as well be written in ancient greek for all I understand of it:
The OU state:
We suggest buying a machine with, at least a 3.0GHz processor, 1GB RAM, a DVD-ROM or combi drive, 100+GB hard disk drive, 17" LCD screen and all the other common items, if your budget allows. This type of computer is commonly available and you should be able to buy one for £450 or less.
Any ideas would be very gratefully received!0
