If i was going to buy a new laptop I would get this... taking the upgraded cpu (X2) and the 9 cell battery....(£350 delivered)

But I am really after a cheap second hand laptop (£200 max)

With most products you have to pay through the nose for brand new spec's and the prices decreas once second hand dramatically. But with laptops it is very different ? Looking at ebay second hand laptops go for huge amounts! compared witht the spec u can get from dell brand new??

Does this confuse anyone else or is it just me ??

The second hand market hasn't caught up with the drop in new prices yet.

For internet/email use this is ideal:

    Gateway ML3108b 14.1" Laptop - £299.00

They also have more expensive Gateway models with faster processors & greater memory.
