not really, you are paying a lot of money for mobile broadband, which has a limit per month up 5gb max, thats not a lot.

the laptops are also overpriced for their specs and its quite likely that the broadband deals will get better in only a few months time

hi i need a laptop for uni this year and i was wondering if htis was decent for the money, its an acer 5715z, it has 3gb of memorry, a 160gb hard drive a dual core t2390 processor. its £323 with staff discount is this good or is there a better deal?

I use a couple of those Acers at work - for general web browsing, and spreadsheets etc, they are excellent - couldn't recommend them enough.

....or..patchworkcat, have you tried pcworld refurbs(as new with 12 month warranty ?? with quidco cashback...got my dual-core advent from them, £250 after quidco, delivered within a few days...hang on, I'll find some links...
