Even without the extra code it was an extremely attractive offer but now it's pretty stunning. Think I will bag one myself tomorrow during the happy hours. Where did you hear about the voucher ML?0

Lady_k, the accident cover for 1yr cost me about £35.
cameo, the voucher code has been posted on the HotUkDeals website.
Also guys my advice to you would be don't waste time as these offers tend to come and go...good luck!0 -
Just wanted to say thanks for posting the info on that vostro deal everyone. Just bought one with a geforce for myself and my parents got the bog standard one and a carry case. Came in at 595 for the lot. Very happy. :beer:0

Damn. I'm really annoyed i've missed out on that 10% deal. How often do Dell actually do deals like this?

I am still a novice after eight years. Cameo said she "got a bog standard one for her parents". I imagine this is what I need but when I looked on Dell at the Vostro computers they seem to be for business customers only. I just need a basic laptop with a large screen and keys I can manage with my bad hands. All I do is surfing generally, reading/using forums, banking and a few letters. What would anyone suggest? Is it possible to get something for £300?0

I keep an eye on cheap laptop deals for my site Support PCs. At the moment I think one from eBuyer is pretty hard to beat. http://www.ebuyer.com/product/140709. It's £269.97 inc VAT with free delivery. It only comes with Windows Vista Basic, but will be fine for general use. I think it's a good buy and would get it myself if I had the cash.0

i think that is decent for the price ^ it will do the job of basic pc stuff, unless you are looking to play 3d games or use editing progs etc, the dell one i am not too sure0
