Where to buy ink?

Hi all :o

I'm looking for a toner for a HP Laser jet printer. I've searched on google but there is literally 1000's of results and I don't know which sites are legitimate. It doesn't have to be the cheapest, just a reliable and trustworthy site. Thanks for any help in advance.

If you use the google "shopping" search the vendors have ratings.

Then check places such as Amazon who don't appear in that search

You may also wish to exclude eBay from some searches with -inurl:ebay although that can be another good source with some things.

For my Epson I use compatible ink cartridges from https://www.printerinks.com.

Order from them a number of times without any problems.

For toner to refill the cartridge yourself google a company called "funkygiraffe" I recently bought a toner refill for my Samsung ML1510 for about £7. An absolute doddle to use.The hardest part was getting the refill plug put of the old toner cartridge, but don't worry if you damage it because funkygiraffe provide replacements.

I have just used IJT direct. £20 for an HP recycled toner if you search for a discount code! And it came next day too. So far, I've been very impressed.

EDIT: not sure if you're looking for new or original though?

The ink I got above all worked so far in my Epson rx685, no issues with rejecting them. I did order around 6 full sets so still have a few sets left

Another vote for Choice Stationery. Haven't bought HP Laserjet stuff but did buy Lexmark toner, plus bucketloads of Epson and HP ink cartridges.

Personally, I've not had a good experience with inkredible.co.uk.

Bought some chipless cartridges from them but after transferring 2 chips the new cartridges wouldn't work. Called them but all they would do was sell me more expensive chipped cartridges and partially refund unopened ones of my first order.

No thought for the fact my printer was unusable. No thought for the fact that I'd had to phone them. No thought for the inconvenience this was putting me to.

How does that fit in with their claim to provide 100% Total customer satisfaction?

The true measure of a company is what they do when things go wrong. Inkredible fail miserably on this. I've used several suppliers before this company and there is no shortage of competition.

My recommendation is to use another company which looks after its customers even when things are going wrong. Plenty to choose from.
