Just Wondering - Have all of you who have been getting points from the CT used the points for a reward yet?
I hadn't used them as I still didn't have enough - so I'm thinking maybe thats why they were able to deduct my points.
I'm sure a lot of people will already have used the points for a reward so how can Pigsback possibly give them Minus Points? What they are doing is unfair - It was their mistake and to take points of some people and not others is unjust.
They seem to be taking lots of time to reply to my emails - I guess they don't want to because of all the complaints I have been sending.
I have never won a quiz either - so not been able to get points quickly.
Just out of interest I once claimed a voucher not realising that Pigsback had given me points twice on a transaction, they took the points off and I had a negative points balance of about -235 so it's not because of that!"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

Anyone received points for the Walkers offer yet? - I haven't and it is no surprise to me.droopsnout wrote: »So it was fairer that we took advantage of their error and profited at their expense?
I don't want to sound like i'm arguing but the people who felt this way shouldn't have took advantage in the first place.droopsnout wrote: »It may be that they started to do this, but when they discovered that it took an hour's wages to find £1.65 of overpayment, they saw the folly of the exercise!
After realising this they could have credited the points back in my account and then left it at that, then everything would be fair - but they didn't.
There will be much more people who used the offer longer than me and would feel the same way if their points were deducted.Queenriderbrekke wrote: »Just out of interest I once claimed a voucher not realising that Pigsback had given me points twice on a transaction, they took the points off and I had a negative points balance of about -235 so it's not because of that!
Thanks I didn't know they do that. It is probably because they couldn't be bothered going through everyone's account deducting points and didn't bother to give mine back.0 -

Yes, ethically you are quite right. But the weakness of human nature over what appear to be small things leads us to the odd minor sin from time to time. But, having accepted that it was a little naughty, I don't think we should complain when we're found out. There will be much more people who used the offer longer than me and would feel the same way if their points were deducted.
In the past I have been a huge critic of PB, and I could show you some cracking messages between myself and a former PB employee called Darragh (a grand bloke) in which we discussed my very sharp criticisms. One of his replies began with "Mother of God!", and always makes me smile.
But on this occasion, I don't think I can say they have done anything wrong.Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930
