No points yet and it did say they would be credited in 24 hours. But it was yesterday evening when I did it, so maybe there's still hope :rotfl:

I haven't had points for the Walkers thing either.... yet.

I've just headed over to the Rewards page and noticed this bit of blurb. .. .

"Due to the current Communication Workers Union industrial action, you may experience some delays in receiving your reward orders. We apologise for the inconvenience that this may cause and we are working as hard as possible to minimise the disruption. Please note this does not affect our E-Voucher's rewards".

Goodness knows how long it'll take now with their record :rotfl:

Just Wondering - Have all of you who have been getting points from the CT used the points for a reward yet?
I hadn't used them as I still didn't have enough - so I'm thinking maybe thats why they were able to deduct my points.

I'm sure a lot of people will already have used the points for a reward so how can Pigsback possibly give them Minus Points? What they are doing is unfair - It was their mistake and to take points of some people and not others is unjust.

They seem to be taking lots of time to reply to my emails - I guess they don't want to because of all the complaints I have been sending.
I have never won a quiz either - so not been able to get points quickly.

I have a little sympathy for you, but not much.

We all knew the points gained from the France Guide CT were dodgy, and we shouldn't have had them. They were a lucky (for us) bonus.

If they take the points from my account I will be disappointed but I can't see any grounds for making any fuss. We took advantage of their incompetence/shortage of staff/whatever. If they have now discovered their error, they act wisely in correcting the situation, even if that upsets the odd punter.

What is 495 points to you (i.e. just £1.65) could be multiplied several thousand times over for them, and that could perhaps be the salary for someone's job.

I am not too fussed about them taking the points away. But when they decide to take points off only some people when loads have been benefiting from it - I think it is unfair.
Also I wonder what they would do if people had already used the points for a reward - I don't think they would end up giving negative points to them. They could have acted more wisely by leaving the points gained - but stopping any further from being added.

They could have left the points in everyones account or took them away - but they didn't. That is why I am a little upset about this otherwise I have no problem with them doing this.

So it was fairer that we took advantage of their error and profited at their expense?

They have done so before. But if I ended up with a negative balance now, I would definitely not be returning to PB's home page tomorrow morning, or any other morning.

I'm afraid that the more attention that is drawn to their incompetence, the more likely it is that they will set some poor soul on to sift through all accounts to find the rogue points.

It may be that they started to do this, but when they discovered that it took an hour's wages to find £1.65 of overpayment, they saw the folly of the exercise!

It's bad luck on you that they discovered your account - but that is all it is: just bad luck.
