Is it true that if you are awarded DLA then IS and HB will increase?

    Hi,

    As onw above points out by living in a flat too big (and over the LHA rate for what he is entitled) he has to find the 'extra' rent out of his own income. He would really need to look for somewhere smaller/cheaper within the LHA limit (or only just over it). That way he could keep more of his income and be better off.
