why choose such high mileage vehicles? you are asking for trouble, tho the saab is the best of the bunch, id go for landy's mazda, you can always make alterations for the child seats, or leave them at home and have an even better camping holiday!Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000
current savings: 20,500 (target hit yippee!)
Debts: 8000 (student loan so doesnt count)
new target savings by Feb 2010: 30,0000 -
Dave, You cant make alterations to a childs seat. Ours needs to have isofix so buying a car that doesnt have it is a no no.Make £10 a day challenge March 2013 £101.24 / £240 :j

Buy a different seat.
A lot cheaper than buying a lemon of a car.
Youu'll probably still have the car when the kids have outgrown the seats;).0 -
You really should be grateful you have a family, we tried for years and years and finally have our daughter, for which we are truely grateful.
we paid a lot for our seat and wanted a maxi cosi as they are one of the best on the market for safety.Make £10 a day challenge March 2013 £101.24 / £240 :j

Get a Skoda Octavia estate, cheap, reliable, economical, isofix, roof rails and an enormous boot. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
Have you thought of something more along these lines:

When our son was born in Jan 08 we changed our fiesta to a Mondeo ST estate and it is a brilliant car - really can't fault it - so much room and good mpg too and as it's a Ford the insurance and parts aren't as horrendous as some other makes.

Looks like Mazda3's have isofix. This thread is from 2007.

And so does the Mazda6 (rear only) although it may not be obvious. See the final bit under child occupant.
