i agree with doozergirl. I think it's most likely that the estate agent had let your property slip to the bottom of the pile and you're decision to move has given them the incentive to do some work.
When selling always keep talkling to the agent every couple of days - don't give them a chance to forget about you!0 -
update : had my first viewing yesterday it was a young couple they seemed to like the place they said that they are going to ring there mortgage adviser with my property and price in mind and see if they get a mortgage for that amount which i think they should do very easy.
so it is looking very good from my first viewing.
i got two more viewing tonight aswell he he.0 -

a) Did the couple both wear wedding rings?
b) Did they turn up in a reasonably smart car, less than 3 yaears old?
c) Were they both wearing suits (or just down from that? )
d) Did they give the impression WE can do this..... We could do that with the property?
e) Did they ask your ideas about the location, shopping, bars and how you found the location
f) Does the agency you're selling with have multiple branches?
points - a) no=1, b) yes=1., c)yes=1, d)no=1, e)no =1, f) yes =1
SO, 6 points= they're co-workers from the agency
0 points = they're solid buyers
somewhere in between = your callI can spell - but I can't type0 -

erm the last time we went to look at a house we was in a p reg nissan micra I was in my plastering clothes does this suggest we cant afford a house?
Check out my signature, that's saving pound coins up just to have a half hour flight in a russian mig fighter, what you drive and what your wear is no indicator of what you earn.0 -
Twaddle from Devils advocate, me & OH would have been able to buy your place seek, and one of the reasons we could afford it is cos we havent wasted money on wedding rings or suits! Were a right pair of scruffs!! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Find it hard to believe that friends of the EAs would even be bothered to go on "fake viewings" - what would they get out of it! I would imagine, like others, the EA doesn't want to lose the sale so he is pushing your house at the moment.0

Think some people have read devils advocate's post wrong. It made me laugh :rotfl:
He's saying that if they did all of those things, they're estate agents! If they do none, they're serious buyers...
Funnily enough, the people that bought my last house ticked all those boxes - but he was an estate agent!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
lol
well as it happened it looked great, I'll see if i can find it in a minute
but shock horror it actually turned out to be and over priced pile of bricks
It went to auction it was detached and sat in a park but the driveway was owned by the water board and they needed acces to the resavoir behind the house, the garden looked enourmous untill you found out it was also owned by the water board0
